Graeme Millerというアーティストがやっているサウンドインスタレーションで、タイトルは "Bassline"。並べられたプロジェクターにロンドンの街の
ランドスケープが移り変わりフェイドインしていき、歩きながらその映像を観ていくというとてもシンプルなショウです。
It's a sound installation called "Bassline" that Graeme Miller is doing. the exhibition is very simple, there are about 15 projectors displayed, each of them shows the landscape of the town in London which keep changing its image...
設置されたスピーカーから１７世紀イギリスの作曲家 ”ヘンリーパーセル”の曲を基にして作られたというダブルベースのソロが駐車場内に響きわたり、
アコースティックな低音と古典的な旋律が、暗がりの空間と映像に不思議な雰囲気を醸し出していました。
and the sound of upright bass solo from the speaker reverberates in the dark space which creates kind of mysterious atmosphere.. the solo bass line based on a work of Henry Purcell underlines the space too...
写真では映像は見れませんが、それを観ながら地下駐車場内を歩いていると自分がゴーストにでもなってロンドン中を探索しているような感覚になります。
音響と空間がスマートに活かされたエキシヴィジョンでした。
You can't see the pictures clearly, but if you are in there and walk around in the car park, I thought you feel like you are a ghost frying and traveling around in London... I enjoyed it very much!
